Job Description

Raubex Infra is a Bloemfontein based subsidiary of the Raubex Group. We are a construction company

operating in the public and private sectors where our services include Renewable Energy and Electrical

Infrastructure, Roads and Bulk Earthworks, Civil and General Infrastructure, Telecommunications,

Special Projects and Asbestos Contracting.

Currently an opportunity exists within our company for a Senior Diesel Mechanic.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•Must be qualified and hold a Trade Certificate: Diesel Mechanic/Earth Moving Mechanic.

•Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar environment (excavators/ tipper trucks / TLB’s)

specializing in heavy earthmoving equipment, but not limited to Caterpillar, Volvo and BELL.

•Must have valid and available contactable references.

•Must be highly Motivated and Result orientated.

•A valid Driver's License and own reliable transport

•South African citizen

JOB SPECIFICATION

•The Diesel mechanic will ensure that all the relevant pre-start checklists are carried out by all relevant operators daily.

•Ensure that all relevant maintenance procedures are adhered to.

•Monitor equipment availability daily.

•Carry out services on the respective plant items.

•Diagnose problems from electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

•Minimise plant downtime and treat it as a matter of urgency.

•Ensuring that the Company’s preventative maintenance systems are adhered to.

•Fault finding and repairs of machines
